Aquaponics - A food growing method that repurposes the waste from aquatic creatures, such as fish, to use as nutrients for plants.
Why?
Through my research, I became interested in the concept of efficient systems to grow food. I really enjoy learning new growing methods and I just so happen to be in the aquarium hobby. Having experience in both, I decided to try some pretty easy YouTube tutorials on how to build your own systems. After my first attempt with herbs, I was hooked and plan to attempt different methods and configurations.
